Section B: One essay-based question on a Shakespeare play. Section C: One essay on two other texts. Component 2 - Elements of Crime (40%) 3 hour examination – clean open book Section A: One compulsory question on an unseen passage. Section B: One Essay question on a set text. Section C: One essay question which connects two texts. Component 3 - Theory and Independence (20%) Coursework folder consisting of two tasks – each 1250- 1500 words. Two different critical theories need to be applied. Candidates will be able to select their literary texts from a suggested list.
