If you are interested in a career in any engineering discipline, plan to go on to university or a Higher or Degree Apprenticeship, then this course could be an ideal choice. This practical course will see you develop both hands-on skills and academic knowledge of Engineering. This course is a Level 3 National Extended Certificate equivalent to one A-Level and can be studied as part of an A-Level programme.
What you need to get on
Five GCSEs at grade 4 or above. Grade 5 or above in GCSE English Language. Grade 6 or above in GCSE Maths.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
