This one year Level 2 Diploma course serves as an introduction to engineering whether you plan to enter employment upon course completion or progress your education right up to university level. You may even be working in engineering at the moment and need to increase your skills to support career development. Whatever your aim you will follow a programme of education that will cover the knowledge, understanding and competencies required for employment within the engineering sector.

What you need to get on

These entry requirements are the minimum required, with an emphasis on mathematics:----3 GCSEs at Grade D or above to include Maths, Science and English.--Performing Engineering Operations NVQ1 with a good record of attendance and grades achieved.----It is important for you to consider whether you enjoy science and mathematics as many engineering and technology roles are based upon science and mathematical principles. Additionally while you are learning we will need you to be:----Responsible for your learning and achievement--Willing to be challenged by new ideas--Enthusiastic----
