This qualification is designed for learners aged pre-16 and above. The qualification is intended to be accessible to a wide range of learners of all abilities. Learners can develop a more 'hands on' approach to their learning and gain practical skills, knowledge and understanding in their chosen vocational area(s). The skills, knowledge and understanding gained may help learners prepare for work through real or simulated work situations and may contribute to preparing them for working life beyond education. The qualification is intended to give learners a solid base from which to further develop their skills and learning within the logistics sector.

What you need to get on

Entry requirements are that learners are 19-21 years without a full level 2 award and should be reasonably fit with good observational skills. . If learners are on medication which restricts them from driving or using machinery this will prevent them from being enrolled. Similarly if medication is for epilepsy, a Doctors letter may be required before enrolment is completed. Learners with special requirements are encouraged to enrol and we will make reasonable adjustments to accommodate individuals.
