What you need to get on
Certificate in Basic Construction Skills, Level 1 Plumbing/Electrical Engineers. GCSE Maths and English grade 4 and above. You will have an interview/assessment to make sure this is the right level for you.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
