If you are looking to train as a fully qualified electrician installing in Commercial, Industrial and domestic locations, the City & Guilds 2365 course could be for you. This is now the default qualification for the traditional route to becoming an electrician whether or not you are employed by an electrical contractor. Please note at the end of the course you will have the status of an Electrician's Mate.

What you need to get on

You will need 4 GCSE's at Grade 3 or above. This must include Maths GCSE at grade 4 and English GCSE at grade 3 or above. If you have a beginner/Introductory qualification in the subject you want to study and a Maths GCSE at grade 4 and English GCSE at Grade 3 (or Functional Skill level 1) you can study at this level.
