If you enjoy practical work and have an eye for detail, electrical installations could be a great career for you. Electricians install and maintain the equipment needed for the safe and efficient use of electricity, including fitting and repairing electrical circuits and wiring. During this course, you will study various units surrounding electrical installations and be assessment is through a combination of online multiple-choice exams and practical assessments. Study in our purpose-built electrical workshops to gain an insight into working within the electrical trade.

What you need to get on

Maths at a grade 4 or above and English at a grade 4 or above, and you will need to have completed the Electrical Level 2 qualification.

One subject in depth, assessed largely through coursework and projects.
