What you need to get on
You will need 4 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above including both English Language and Maths. Progressing students must have successfully completed the Electrical Installation Level 1 course, have achieved English Language and Maths at grade 4 (C) and passed a progression assessment.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
