Want to become an electrician in the building services industry? This Level 2 Electrical Installation course is designed to help you develop the occupational skills needed to progress into employment or an apprenticeship. You�ll also strengthen your maths and English skills to support your career journey.

What you need to get on

You�ll need GCSE grade 4 or above in English and Maths. If you don�t meet these requirements, you can start with a Level 1 Construction course to build your skills and improve your grades. Full attendance, punctuality, and timely homework submission are expected throughout the course.

How you are assessed

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

What this level means

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
