What the college says
The course gives students the opportunity to develop an in-depth understanding of physical and human geography, the complexity of people and environment questions and issues, and to become critical, reflective and independent learners. Students will learn about issues such as the consequences of globalisation and responses to hazards. The course consists of two externally examined papers, each lasting for 1 hour 45 minutes and each making up 50% of the course. There is no coursework.

To attain 6 GCSE grades 4 to 9 to include English and Maths at Grade 4 or higher

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
