Geography is a subject that looks at the relationship between human populations and the physical environment at a variety of scales from local to global. The chosen course follows an issues and impacts approach to contemporary geography that is suitable for all students. The course specification is engaging and flexible. It gives students the opportunity to: Study the relationship between human populations, their physical environments and other human populations at a variety of scales from the local to the global. Consider their own role in relation to the geographical themes and environmental issues being studied and the roles, values and attitudes of others including decision makers. Undertake investigative fieldwork.

What you need to get on

Students must have a Grade 6 at GCSE Geography and/or a Grade 6 at GCSE Biology/Double Science and a demonstrated interest in environmental issues.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
