If you have an interest in economic affairs and a desire to explore why and how the study of economics contributes to an understanding of the modern world, you’ll enjoy this course. Economics is the study of how resources are used to meet the needs of the people. It involves the analysis of decisions made: what is produced; how much is produced and by what method; and how goods and services are allocated. Economics aims to develop an understanding of economic concepts and theories through a critical consideration of current economic issues, problems and institutions. Lectures, class discussions, group activities, case studies and independent research.

Mostly C's or above (including at least 4 in English and Maths)

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
