What the college says
There is an emphasis on Drama and Theatre Studies as a practical, intellectual and artistic subject. There will be devised and scripted practical performances that are assessed by a visiting examiner and internally assessed. The course also encourages the practical and theoretical exploration of play texts from different periods and genres, including the study of two theatre practitioners and the analysis of production elements.
What you need to get on
Minimum five 9-4 grades at GCSE to include grade 6 in GCSE Drama (if studied) or grade 5 in GCSE English Language or English Literature
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
