You will need to be prepared to involve yourself wholeheartedly in lessons, many of which are taught using practical techniques. We will expect you to offer ideas freely to discussion and to experiment with a wide variety of practical dramatic skills. Creative engagement with the subject and the willingness to pursue your chosen speciality in acting or design are absolutely vital.
What you need to get on
Minimum entry requirements are GCSE grades 6, 6, 5, 5, 5 and a 4 in English Language or Literature. This should include a grade 6 in English GCSE plus experience of or a passion for performance. You do not need to have studied GCSE Drama.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
