The A Level course is separated into 3 units. Each unit asks you to learn a new and exciting aspect of drama. Unit 1- You will create a piece of theatre based on an extract from a text using the techniques and methods of either theatre practitioner or a theatre company. Unit 2- In this unit you will engage with a stimulus to create two pieces of live theatre: one devised piece and one extract from a text in a contrasting style. Unit 3- Written exam exploring three essay questions that explore three different text
What you need to get on
6x level 9 to 4(4 GCSE passes at A*- C), including a 5 in English or 5 in drama at SE
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
