What the college says
This course requires practical, creative, reflective and imaginative students. This course will develop your ability to create Drama and Theatre in a performing or designing role. Throughout the two year course we will focus on the practical exploration and development of skills at all levels. You will complete detailed studies of published plays, Playwrights and performances – both from an analytical position, but also from staging and performing those pieces. You will be required to attend a wide number of Theatre performances and productions, workshops and seminars. You do not have to have studied GCSE Drama to take this course – but must be prepared to perform at all sessions.

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
