MODULES OF STUDY: AS Level Unit 1: Drama through the Ages You will answer one two part question from the perspective of a performer and a choice of either performer or designer on extracts from one set play you will have studied in class. You will also write about the work of theatre makers in one live production you will have experienced. Unit 2: Process in Performance You will explore and interpret two key extracts, each from a different play and perform extract 2 to a live audience having applied the methodologies of a prescribed practitioner. You will produce an individual portfolio that documents your work on both extracts. MODULES OF STUDY: A-Level Unit 1: Drama through the Ages & 20th and 21st Century Drama You will answer one set question from the perspective of a performer and a choice of either performer or designer on extracts from two set plays you will have studied in class. You will also write about the work of theatre makers in one live production you will have experienced. Unit 2: Creating Original Drama You will create an original piece of theatre with others in your group. The process, the performance and your evaluation of it will all contribute to your mark.
