This Level 2 qualification provides learners with a range of site carpentry skills and knowledge. Learners will also develop an understanding of the health and safety requirements for working in the construction industry, and the industry itself.

There are no formal entry requirements however, learners will need to complete an initial assessment and interview.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
