The Level 2 Motor Vehicle Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair IMI Diploma builds on the Level 1 Motor Vehicle Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair IMI Diploma and provides you with the knowledge of light vehicle technology and the skills in removal and refitting of components. Customer Service Skills is built in as part of the course providing the skills required to support customers and staff and broaden future career opportunities.
What you need to get on
The entry qualifications for the Level 2 Motor Vehicle Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair IMI Diploma are three GCSEs at grades 4 or above (Old GCSE grade C or above) including Maths and English. Alternatively, successful completion of Level 1 Motor Vehicle Course.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
