This course will give you a foundation for a career within the engineering sector, with a focus on a fabrication and welding discipline. You will have the opportunity to enhance your industry knowledge and increase your job readiness, as well as gain skills and knowledge through a variety of practical and theoretical sessions. You will learn, develop and practice the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the fabrications and welding engineering sector.

Applicants will be expected to have a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade 3 or an equivalent qualification

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
