This course is designed to support staff working in the customer service sector in a business within the public, private or voluntary sector.
What you need to get on
Applicants must be in a role - either as an employee or in a regular voluntary role - where they handle front-line customer enquiries, using a variety of methods to manage and support customers across a wide range of situations.You must have access to a computer and the Internet as this qualification is completed using an e-portfolio.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
