The L2 Diploma in Bricklaying course is designed for students eager to explore bricklaying within the construction industry. It provides a strong foundation in practical, trade-based skills while also supporting the development of essential skills such as employability. The course is tailored to help learners identify and take the next steps towards a successful career as a bricklayer.
What you need to get on
We require GCSEs in English and maths at a 4 or Functional Skills at a L2. Applicants will be invited to attend an interview, where we’ll discuss your behaviour, attendance record, and personal circumstances to ensure the course is the right fit for you. Progressing students will be considered based on similar criteria. Completion of a L1 in a construction course or meaningful work experience in construction is also required
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
