DT: Product Design gives an opportunity to explore designing and making skills in a variety of areas which all contribute towards the overall area of Product Design. DT: Textiles gives an opportunity to explore designing and making skills in a variety of areas which all contribute towards the overall area of Fashion and Textile Design. This course includes a substantial practical element and allows for highly creative and experimental working. The theory content covers topics such as consumer issues, materials and their applications, marketing and industrial/commercial aspects of manufacturing.
