Our CAS programme takes place on one afternoon a week, offering you a range of extra-curricular activities to complement your academic studies. We feel strongly that it is important for you to become involved in more areas than your academic studies so that you can develop additional social and personal skills. Consequently, participation in the programme is a compulsory and very relevant part of your studies. It is especially useful for university and employment applications. The CAS Co-ordinator oversees your choices, your development and your evaluations. We do recognise, however, that different students have different needs. Not everyone plays a musical instrument, or is proficient in web design. Not everyone wants to play basketball or take a photography course. In order to cater for everyone we offer a wide range of musical, artistic, sporting and community service activities. Students have to choose at least one creative, one active and one service activity across the five terms as a condition of enrolment. For certain activities there is a ceiling on numbers and for others a minimum number.
