What is Core Maths? Core Maths is offered to students who have achieved a grade 5 or better in GCSE Mathematics but who are not studying Mathematics at AS or A Level. The course covers aspects of Functional Mathematics that are relevant to a wide range of subjects and careers. Core Maths is assessed by examination at the end of Year 13. There is no coursework element.

Students are required to meeting the entry requirements to Hillview Sixth form plus a Grade 5 or above in GCSE Maths.
