What the college says

This Level 1 plastering programme introduces students to all the key techniques required in this in-demand trade. You will be taught the full process of many different plastering applications which will allow you to either progress to a higher level or complete plastering tasks both domestically and within industry. There is flexibility in how the course is taught allowing tutors to adapt projects to suit the skills sets of individual students from those with little or no experience to ones who already have a grasp of the basics. You will learn: Different techniques for internal and external applications How to apply dot/dab - direct wall bond Modern and traditional plastering applications. How to apply internal finishes such as overskim, application to plasterboards and solid backgrounds.

What you need to get on

This is an entry level course so there are no specific requirements for the programme. You will need basic English and maths and a knowledge of some simple computing to be able to complete the course successfully. If you are struggling in any of these areas, we can help you acquire these skills and support you to gain qualifications which will help to increase your employability going forward.

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
