This course is for young adults who have profound and multiple learning difficulties. The programme is multi-sensory and delivered in a supportive environment with highly trained staff and a high staff/student ratio aimed at improving communication using a variety of different platforms tailored to meet individual student needs. The course offers therapeutic provision through the College�s own therapy team.
What you need to get on
No formal entry requirements however all students are required to have an Education Health & Care Plan that is supported by their Local Authority and places on any course are subject to the LA agreeing to fund placement.
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
What this level means
A supported starting point if exams have not gone well yet.
Is it open to 16 to 18 year olds?
Not on the Section 96 list, but a school or college runs it full time, so check the age range with them.
