The Classical Civilisation A Level course gives students the opportunity to study a range of significant individuals, societies and events which will inspire and motivate them to engage further with the classical world.

What you need to get on

General entry minimum requirements to study three Level 3 qualifications for Hillview Sixth Form are Grade 4 in both English and Maths together with 3 other GCSE grades at Grade 4 or above. SUBJECT SPECIFIC ENTRY CRITERIA: Grade 6 or above in GCSE History or GCSE Ancient History plus grade 6 or above in GCSE English Literature and grade 4 or above in GCSE Maths. An APS of 4.75 or above. Students do not need to have any previous knowledge of a classical subject to study this course.
