The Classics A Level is a rewarding and stimulating course that provides new insight into the foundational texts of the western canon. The rich and varied lessons will encourage candidates to develop the critical and evaluative skills, which will enable them to go on to Higher Education to study a range of courses.

What you need to get on

Minimum of grade 5 in both GCSE English Literature and English Language. A good GCSE in History is useful but not required.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
