This course will give you an in-depth understanding of autism and how to support individuals to lead positive, healthy and independent lives. This short course will run via weekly webinars, giving you the opportunity to do your coursework at home. You will receive a professional Level 2 qualification awarded to you by TQUK.
What you need to get on
This course is suitable for anyone over the age of 19 and working in the health and social care sector. Whether you are at a junior or senior level it is a valued qualification to apply for. It is an ideal programme for you if you are working with or will work with adults with autism, in a care home or a domestic setting. Additionally it is suitable for you if you wish to develop your general knowledge and understanding of autism.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
