This course is suitable for anyone currently working with or intending to work, with children and young people or anyone who wishes to increase their understanding of care for these age groups. The qualification can also be used to complement a personal or voluntary role working with children and young people. Successful completion of this course will prepare you for further learning or training and or develop knowledge required for entry level job roles working with children and young people. It is not necessary to have formally studied this subject prior to enrolling on this course, although you may have done an introductory course or have some experience of this subject. You will need good IT skills and access to a computer, laptop, or table, with regular and reliable internet connection. This can be at home, work or a library.
