Students will take 4 units - 3 mandatory and 2 optional. The mandatory units are as follows: The Business Environment - this module gives students an understanding of the wider external contexts in which businesses operate and internal business functions and their inter-dependencies; Working in Business - this module will provide an understanding of the type of critical skills needed such as organisation, prioritisation and effective communication; Customers and Communication - this module will allow students to appreciate how vital customers are to the success of a business. The optional units cover a wide range of topics to give students the opportunity to take a unit that is relevant to a specific aspect of business, for example, marketing, accounting, human resources or business planning.

What you need to get on

All students entering the Sixth Form to undertake a 3 A Level programme must have secured 5 GCSE grades at 4 or above, including English and Maths. It is not necessary to have studied Business at GCSE.
