The role of an air cabin crew member is to provide excellent customer service to passengers ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the flight. They are trained to deal with security and emergency situations which may arise and can administer first aid to passengers.

What you need to get on

A minimum of 5 GCSE subjects graded 9-3 or equivalent including maths or English.

How you are assessed

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

What this level means

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
