What the college says

You will study 5 units; The Business Environment, Working in Business, Customers and Communication, Marketing and Market Research and International Business. These units are based on the study of real businesses that you will research, and develop your understanding of. Previous businesses that we have studied include Morrisons, Yorkshire Wildlife Park, Costa, Thomas Cook and McDonalds. This is an extremely popular course with a history of outstanding results. You will be expected to undertake further reading and independent study to meet deadlines. Coursework is assessed by producing a portfolio of work that is assessed internally, and then moderated by a visiting examiner from the examination board.

GCSE English Language - minimum 4 GCSE Maths - minimum 4 plus two other 4's

How you are assessed

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
