The Edexcel A level Business course at St Paul's is a course which enables students to develop an enthusiasm for studying business by gaining a holistic understanding of business in a range of contexts and developing a critical understanding of organisations and their ability to meet society's needs and wants. Furthermore the course supports students to generate enterprising and creative approaches to business opportunities, problems and issues. The dedicated teaching team have strong skills in getting the best out of students of all abilities. The teaching approaches include a variety of methods to encourage students to discuss, read and present their ideas in active and written forms. Relations are informal but focused on each student's performance and potential. Teachers are accessible for support at all times so students are soon able to gain confidence in their new abilities and can mature with guidance.

What you need to get on

Five GCSEs grade 4 and above, including English & Maths. Minimum of Grade 6 in Business Studies GCSE.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
