What the college says

Business Studies requires an inquisitive mind and a genuine interest in how businesses achieve success. In addition, it requires a real interest in the environment in which businesses operate, for example, how interest rates can affect a business's success and why technology can help a business beat all competition. Whichever career students choose to follow, they will need to understand how a business works, whether they work for themselves or for others. This course will teach students about the inner workings of a business and the key decisions needed to make a profit. Students will be studying a subject that is dynamic and ever changing, and will acquire a range of important skills including research and presentational skills.
