Thinking of a job in the business world? You may even have thought about setting up your own business. We can help you gain the confidence and the skills that you will need. We will help you understand how to market a product and how to communicate effectively and how to set yourself up to succeed. You will have the opportunity, as part of your programme, to spend 30hrs on a relevant work placement.

What you need to get on

You will need:----A desire to succeed--Four GCSEs at Grade D (including English and Maths)--A good level of written and verbal communication skills----Please note you must attend the GCSE English and Maths sessions, if you do not already hold a grade C or above as part of the programme structure.--

How you are assessed

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

What this level means

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
