If you have an interest in topics such business structures, ethics, the economy, finance, marketing, human resources and management then you will enjoy A Level Business. Year 12 Topics Studied: Theme 1 - Marketing & People. Theme 2 - Managing business activities. Year 12 TOPICS STUDIED: Theme 1 - Marketing & People. Theme 2 - Managing Business activities. Year 13 TOPIC STUDIED: Theme 3 - Business decisions and strategy. Theme 4 - Globabl business. A Level Business cannot be studied together with The BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate in Business or A Level Economics due to content overlap.

What you need to get on

Applicants will need to have a minimum of 5 grades 9-4 (or A*-C) GCSEs, including English and Mathematics, and Business at a minimum grade 5 (C). Internal applicants who meet the minimum academic entrance requirements will be offered a place automatically (subject to availability of courses). All successful applicants will be required to sign a sixth form code of conduct in recognition of the Academy's expectations of sixth form students in terms of their behaviour, punctuality and attendance.
