This course is for anyone moving on from GCSE with an interest in business. Whether you're considering working for a global corporation, or small firm, or even running your own business in the future, this subject will give you a good grounding in business theory.

What you need to get on

A grade 6 in GCSE Business and a grade 5 in GCSE English and Maths If GCSE Business Studies has not been studied then the student must have a grade 6 in either History, Geography, Religious Studies, or Sociology. NOTE: This subject cannot be taken in combination with BTEC Business or A-Level Economics.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
