The BTEC Level 3 in Engineering provides a comprehensive foundation for anyone interested in pursuing a career in the engineering sector. You will gain essential skills and knowledge in areas such as Engineering Principles, Mechanical and electrical systems, Engineering project management, CAD (Computer-Aided Design), Health and safety regulations in engineering. This course will equip you with both theoretical understanding and practical skills, preparing you for university, apprenticeships, or employment in fields such as mechanical, electrical, civil, or aerospace engineering.

What you need to get on

Students need 5 GSCE passes at grade 4 or above including English Language or GCSE English literature. Additionally, GCSE Maths Grade 5 and GCSE Science Grade 5 are required. DT Grade 4 is preferred but not essential.
