The Engineering course provides an excellent first step into the vast Engineering careers world and is ideally suited to students who have an enthusiasm for Design, Technology, Mathematics and Physics. Students who choose BTEC Engineering may go into careers such as Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering, as well as Product Design and Computer Science.
What you need to get on
Minimum of GCSE grades 4 (G4) in English and Mathematics plus 3 other GCSEs at grades 9-4 (A*-C) Plus: G6 or higher in Maths and DT or G6 or higher in Maths and G5 or higher in Science
