What the college says
The Level 3 BTEC sport programme allows you to achieve first-class qualifications through classroom and vocational learning, whilst building your independence and gaining valuable practical experience in the sport and leisure industry. The Diploma is the equivalent of three A Levels. Embedded within the course is football coaching and playing for you to enhance your practical skills and experience. This is studied over 2 years with an option to leave after year one with an extended certificate (equivalent to 1.5 A Levels) upon successful completion. However, most students progress to year 2 of study.
What you need to get on
4 x GCSE Grades 4/C and above including maths and English Language Or An appropriate Level 2 Qualification within sport and maths & English Language grade 4/C or above.

One subject in depth, assessed largely through coursework and projects.
