What the college says
The BTEC course is designed for people who have an interest in SPORT, coachiing and jobs within the sports industry. This course is mainly coursework based, but has elements of practical work and units. You will learn through classwork, practical lessons and coaching sessions. The Triple course is equivalent to 3 A-levels and the Single course is the equivalent to 1 A-level. Both qualifications are a 2 year course with new specifications. There will be 4 exams for Triple students and 2 exams for Single students
What you need to get on
Five or more grades at 4+ in GCSE or equivalent, including English and Maths. A grade 5+ in English (Lang or Lit)

One subject in depth, assessed largely through coursework and projects.
