This course provides a broad Level 3 introduction to the health and social care sector. This qualification has been designed to be the only qualification in a two-year, full-time study programme; it is an in-depth study of the health and social care sector. It supports progression to health and social care related degrees.

What you need to get on

This course is suitable for pupils who are interested in careers within health, social care, early years and education sectors. Pupils do not need to have taken Health and Social Care in KS4 but they must have: - Level 2 Merit in Health and Social Care OR - A minimum of 5 GCSE qualifications at Grade 4 or above, including English Language - A standard of literacy and numeracy to enable achievement - An ability to organise work files and meet deadlines
