What the college says
The applied science course is a fantastic option for pupils interested in any of the three sciences. It is a great option for pupils who aim to have a career in science, however since the course offers so many other skills it can also be a stepping stone into other careers. The course is focussed on not just allowing pupils to learn about all three sciences , but also gain practical and professional skills that will prepare them for any future pathway they choose, whether that be university, an apprenticeship or straight into employment.
What you need to get on
2 Grade 4 and 3 Grade 5 in GCSE, including at least a grade 4 in English Literature and Maths. You must have also achieved at least a 5-4 in Trilogy science.

One subject in depth, assessed largely through coursework and projects.
