We are excited to be able to offer a new BTEC course available to students. Today’s BTEC Nationals are demanding, as you would expect of the most respected applied learning qualification in the UK. You will have to choose and complete a range of units, be organised, take some assessments that we will set and mark, and keep a portfolio of your assignments. Mandatory units include – Investigating Practitioners’ Work, Developing Skills for Performance & Group Performance Workshops, Performing Arts in the Community, Individual Performance Commission, Final Live Performance to an Audience. Students will also pick either: Interpreting Classical Text or Improvisation with either Directing or Physical Theatre. The content of this qualification has been developed in consultation with academics to ensure that it supports progression to higher education and can be converted to UCAS points.

Students should have achieved 5 GCSEs at grade 9 - 4 including English and Maths.
