This practical work related course is aimed at creative students who have an interest in developing their skills for the performing arts industry such as in acting or dance. Equivalent in size to one A level, you study it alongside other level 3 qualifications making it a stepping stone to higher education if you choose this path. It will give you transferable skills including self-confidence, presentation and communication, self-management and teamwork that are also useful in a range of non-arts careers. This course is available in two pathways; one for those studying primarily Drama and one for those specialising in Dance.

What you need to get on

English Language – 5 Proven Ability in Drama - BTEC L2 Merit or GCSE Drama - 5 or external drama qualifications like Lamda exams OR Proven ability in Dance - BTEC L2 Merit or GCSE Dance - 5 or external dance qualifications.
