What the college says
This qualification is for post‐16 learners who want to continue their ICT education through applied, practical learning. You will be given the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills in building IT systems (e.g. websites, databases, games) & learning about systems management and social media.
What you need to get on
You would benefit most from BTEC ICT if you have six GCSEs at grade A*‐C, including a B in an ICT or Computing qualification such as the Edexcel Certificate in Digital Applications (CiDA) or GCSE Computing.

One subject in depth, assessed largely through coursework and projects.
