This is an exciting course for anyone wishing to further develop their understanding of dance. You will get the opportunity to create and perform contemporary and jazz dances, drawing on your imagination and creativity. You will be encouraged to research key practitioners and analyse professional dance works to inform your own practical work and develop your appreciation of dance as an art form.
What you need to get on
Grade 4 in GCSE English Language is required. Applicants for this course will be invited to take part in a short Creative Workshop to demonstrate their ability level and willingness to perform prior to entry. Relevant dance experience can also be demonstrated during the first weeks of the course. A genuine interest in dance and choreography.
