Science is everywhere in today’s world and part of our daily lives. The Applied Science course explores the fundamentals of science through observation and experiment. The course includes topics such as atomic structure, animal cells and plant cells, to the applications of science in different industries including forensics, pharmaceuticals and sports science. This course is a more practical application of science and will require students to develop their scientific report-writing skills.
What you need to get on
5 GCSE at grade 4+ to include grade 4/4+ in at least two sciences

One subject in depth, assessed largely through coursework and projects.
